Why arent i getting fit and what can i do to improve it? exercize?

i've been vigorously exercizing at least 5 days a week for 3 weeks and i planned my meals this last week. i'm 16, and i havent lost any weight or gotten any leaner. how can i improve my results? i do strength training and run about 3 miles. thanks :)
