Pilots: are you happy with your job?

Yes, I love my job. When the wheels are in the wells it's a great job. Nice views, seeing new places, meeting new people, and it's easy if nothing goes wrong. I also agree with the other poster who said the people you work for can be trying. Sometimes the gossip goes too far, as people seem to have nothing better to do. The industry is difficult because the FAA tries to make it hard for you to operate, and we have to compete on a playing field that is not level. It's a tough career but a very good job. Overall I can't see myself doing anything else.
